  5. These Herbal “Essences” cannot compare to the ORIGINAL Herbal “Essence” shampoo, which smelled 10x better than these newer sickeningly sweet shampoos/conditioners. It baffles me why Clairol/P&G are so afraid of re-releasing the original. I contacted them and they said it didn’t sell, but I find that hard to believe because everyong I talk to remembers it and says they’d buy if it were available. I think the patent ran out, but that can always be renewed. e-Bay sells the original for $100!
