thank you for the reply,, i will DEFINANTLY be ordering some AN ,,, and i really enjoy watching these videos, they’re pack full of awesome advise that could only otherwise be picked up by years in the growroom,, i love the fact that Advanced Nutrients and yourself take the time to share all this great knowledge to help us ALL become better growers, thanks again , and i cant wait to give advanced a try!!!!
Well, the labels actually don’t tell the full picture. They are a guaranteed MINIMUM analysis. Only the manufacture knows the EXACT contents and ratios; not all ingredients are created equal either, some are highly proprietary.
So in theory the answer would be “maybe” while in reality, it’s not going to be the same thing. If they don’t have AN at your local shop, there are lots of good online suppliers, as well as AN direct sales..just phone in your order to them.
Mr. Erik,,,, i’m really learning alot ,,, and i cant wait to give advanced nutrients a try but it is not available at any of my local hydroponic shops yet,,,but my question is,, could a grower use a “different brand” of nutrients and compose a “custom” nutrient solution based on their guarenteed analysis, and mix according to an advanced nutrient feeding schedule based on the guarenteed analysis of their products? im sure not all nutes are created equal,,but i thought I’d ask ,,,, thank you,,
Some people feel that adding the micro first will result in less “reaction” with high percentage of calcium it contains when other nutrients are added. Concentrated calcium doesn’t get along with phosphates and sulfates. In this manner the clacium is already dilute when it “touches” other nutrients. You raise a good point here….
I was told by a few people, that the 3-Parts nutrients should be mixed in a specific order. They said I should be mixing the Micro into the water first, then add Bloom, and lastly grow. Is there a preferred order in mixing your nutrients?
Many growers have had great success in using GMB in soil and soilless mediums (Sunshine #4 or Pro Mix).
If you have a healthy and “live” organic soil you can use the GMB formulations very sparingly to ensure that the crop has a full spectrum of plant available nutrients. While not 100% organic, you get the best of both for quality and yield.
Hey, Erik,
You explain it so well. If I wasn’t using organics, I’d try Grow-Micro-Bloom! Can you use it in soil?
Two thumbs up!
